Go further to Dalston!

Why Dalston? Why not Brinklane?
Myself, i live in East London for the past 9 years and i've seen all the changing, in the beginning when i moved here, i used to live in Bricklane

Back then, it was cool, very underground because the accommodations were very cheap and for the students (specially fashion/music student) or people came from other countries were affordable, i remember i paid £200 a month for a room and i live in in the middle of Bricklane.

Sunday Market in Bricklane is like a fashion show for us, watch the show and walking the run way in the same time, the market was mainly selling bikes, vegetables and building equipments, so it wasn't anything excited about the market but the people who is going to the market.

Now, Bricklane became more and more well known, nowaday is one of the sightseeing attractions, in the last couple of years i live above spitalfields Market, every single sunday as soon as i opened my door, i'd see people holding the map and look for Bricklane, i even came up to them few time and asked if they were looking for Bricklane and i certainly knew they were going to say yes.

For me, Bricklane is not like the Bricklane that i knew from the beginning anymore, now is like very hippies and touristy. So where is the next step for the people who used to live around there? Just go a bit further. Go Dalston!

Dalston / London Fields / Victoria Park / Stock Newington are kinda new area for those people who a bit fed up of the Bricklane  area,  I now moved to Kingsland Road, i have my nice neighbours who love talking about the past of East London, and when we talk, we'd talk for ages.

The vibe in this area is incredible, up coming bars also every week or every other week, is full of excitements place to live, a lot of nice private events, gigs and exhibitions, bars are in every single corners and cafes are everywhere in the area, the crowd surely different than the one in Bricklane, at least they are not holding the map, so you will feel like you are a one of our local people and very into the East London scene.

Avoid the touristic attractions, what else can you do in Paris? Part 1 ( Museums and Galleries )

If you have been to Paris before and done all the sightseeing stuff, then the next thing you probably would think of is  WHAT ELSE YOU CAN DO, I travel to Paris about 5 times a year and every times i discovered more and more things to do, and i am here to share with you. Part 1 (galleries and museums)

...........................................................................................................................

Le Petit Palais
The Petit Palais was built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, like its neighbour the Grand Palais, on avenue Winston Churchill. It became a museum in 1902. Designed by Charles Girault, it is based on a trapezium shape and is made up of four wings around a semi-circular garden bordered by a richly decorated peristyle. The architect achieved a successful blend of traditional and modern architecture which is evident in the natural flow of visitors around the building and in the bold openings he created onto the Champs-Elysées gardens and inner courtyard garden.

Centre Pompidou
The Centre national d'art et de culture Georges Pompidou was the brainchild of President Georges Pompidou who wanted to create an original cultural institution in the heart of Paris completely focused on modern and contemporary creation, where the visual arts would rub shoulders with theatre, music, cinema, literature and the spoken word. Housed in the centre of Paris in a building designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers, whose architecture symbolises the spirit of the 20th century, the Centre Pompidou first opened its doors to the public in 1977. After renovation work from 1997 to December 1999, it opened to the public again on 1 January 2000, with expanded museum space and enhanced reception areas. Since then it has once again become one of the most visited attractions in France. Some 6 million people pass through the Centre Pompidou's doors each year, a total of over 190 million visitors in its 30 years of existence.

Musee d'Orsay
he museum building was originally a railway station, Gare d'Orsay, constructed for the Chemin de Fer de Paris à Orléans and finished in time for the 1900 Exposition Universelle to the design of three architects: Lucien MagneÉmile Bénard and Victor Laloux. It was the terminus for the railways of southwestern France until 1939.

By 1939 the station's short platforms had become unsuitable for the longer trains that had come to be used for mainline services. After 1939 it was used for suburban services and part of it became a mailing centre during World War II. It was then used as a set for several films, such as Kafka's The Trial adapted by Orson Welles, and as a haven for the Renaud-Barrault Theatre Company and for auctioneers, while the Hôtel Drouot was being rebuilt. The station's hotel closed on 1 January 1973.

Manish Arora 'Futuristic Baroque' Ready to wear collection
15 mins show wasn't enough time for me, i was wishing the show last forever! Even though I still had so much fun!
This Manish Arora's collection is a very big piece of ART,  the balance structure style, the latex legging and the unconstrained style hats, for sure that will be Lady Gaga's next favorite

Damir Doma

Damir Doma Spring ready to wear 2011
I love Doma's menswear a lot, when i looked at the menswear, somehow i wish that i have a male body.
And when i heard about Doma is having his womenswear show in Paris, i wasn't really convince but also very curious at the same time, surprisingly, i love it as much as i love his menswear collections.

Sexy, Comfy, Sharp,  Zipless, sounds like what i wanted! Love the orange so much, plus matching with the black and shortie top makes the whole thing looks very chic and interesting.
